The town of Claremore, OK is located about thirty minutes northeast of Tulsa, just off of the Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44).
From its origin as a fur Trading Post along the Verdigris River in 1802, Claremore has grown to become a thriving community. At times, during the early days of the 20th century it was bigger than Tulsa.
Claremore is home to Rogers State University, one of the fastest-growing universities in Oklahoma, with about 4,000 students.
Hotels and motels in Claremore are mainly located along highway 66, which is the town's main street. They are all within 5 miles of both RSU campus and the I-44.
